What we don't collect

NISAAB's tax calculator runs entirely inside your browser. When you enter your gross salary, deductions, or tax year to get a result, that information is processed on your own device using JavaScript — it is never transmitted to, or stored on, any NISAAB server. We have no database of user salaries, and we cannot see the numbers you enter.

What we do collect

We collect only what's necessary to run the site and respond to enquiries:

• Contact details you choose to send us — if you email us, call us, or fill out a consultation request through our Services page, we retain that information only to respond to your enquiry.
• Basic, aggregated site analytics — such as page views and general traffic patterns, used to understand which guides and features are useful. This data is anonymised and not linked to any individual's tax figures.

The optional "Name" and "Employer" fields in the calculator are used only to personalise the PDF slip generated in your own browser (see below) — they are never submitted anywhere.

Cookies & local storage

NISAAB does not use cookies or browser storage to track individuals across sessions or sites. Any session-level state (such as your last-entered salary figure) exists only in your browser's memory for that visit and disappears when you close the tab.

Third-party services

To build and style the site, we load a small number of third-party resources from their official content delivery networks: Google Fonts (typography), Bootstrap and Bootstrap Icons (layout and icons), and Google Charts (the tax-split visualisation on our homepage). These providers may log standard technical request data (such as your IP address and browser type) as part of serving these files, under their own respective privacy policies. None of these services receive your salary or tax data — that never leaves the calculator itself.

Your PDF slip

The "Download PDF slip" feature builds your document entirely in your browser using a client-side library. The finished file is written directly to your device's downloads folder; it does not pass through, or get retained by, any NISAAB server.

Your rights

Since we do not store your tax calculations, there is nothing to request, correct, or delete on that front. For any personal information you have voluntarily sent us (such as an email enquiry), you may ask us at any time to tell you what we hold, correct it, or delete it, by contacting us using the details below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example to reflect a new feature or a change in the third-party tools we use. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
