Why NISAAB

Switch between salaried and business/AOP tax tables in the same calculator — each with its own official FBR slab structure.

Plain-language guides

Our blog and 15-question FAQ explain filer status, deductions, and slab changes in language built for real people.

Process

Three steps, and it really is that short

Unlike a real FBR filing, this takes under a minute — because that's all a tax estimate should ever take.

01

Choose salary or business

Pick the tab that matches your income type — each uses its own official FBR slab table.

02

Enter your income and tax year

Default is the current FY 2026–27. Switch to any year back to 2021–22, or compare a whole range at once.

03

Read your slip, download the PDF

Get your monthly and annual tax, take-home pay, marginal bracket, and a full slab breakdown — plus a PDF to keep.

No. Salary withholding is calculated the same way for filers and non-filers. Filer status matters for withholding tax on property, vehicles, and banking transactions — not on your monthly salary deduction.

Pakistan's tax law treats non-salaried individuals and Associations of Persons (AOPs) under a separate rate table from salaried employees, generally with steeper rates at every income level above the exemption threshold.

No. NISAAB is an independent estimation tool built on publicly notified FBR slabs. It's designed for quick, private estimates — always confirm figures with your payroll department or a registered tax practitioner for filing purposes.
